History

2001 – negotiations were started with Ida-Viru local municipalities to establish IVEK

2002 – three Ida-Viru cities – Jõhvi, Kiviõli and Kohtla-Järve established Ida-Viru Enterprise Centre (IVEK)

2003 – in April IVEK was registered in Business Register; centre began work with three people; IVEK consulted starting businesses and municipalities

2004 – IVEK joined the program of regional development centres’ network – consulting of non-governmental organisations was added to services

2007 – IVEK expands its services to Narva – IVEK opens branch in Narva

2010 – IVEK provides county tourism information service in Jõhvi Tourist Information Centre

2018 – 15th year of operation!
